VE4MRS at Buydens Hill (East of Bruxelles)

This machine was removed from service in the fall of 2021. This was to allow the site to be fully used by VE4HS (which belongs to the Brandon Amateur Radio Club). They now can run more power and use VE4MRS’s old antenna ( a 4 bay at the very top of the tower) for better coverage . We helped BARC get the machine on the AllStarLink network after we all worked with the Digital Data Group to get an IP connection to the site.

We look forward to seeing this site soon host an APRS Digipeater with to fill in a big gap in coverage in the province.

The pictures here are strictly for historical purposes.
