Welcome to the Manitoba Repeater Society



The Manitoba Repeater Society Inc. (MRS) is a non-profit organization. Its objective is to promote amateur radio through FM communications on VHF and UHF frequencies.

MRS maintains an extensive linked repeater systems throughout Southern Manitoba. The system covers from Bruxelles in the west to Falcon Lake in the east and Gimli in the north to Morris in the south. By offering mutual linking arrangements to the as Brandon Amateur Radio Club(BARC) , and the Lake of the Woods Amateur Radio Society’s Pine Tree system, coverage is extended to Brandon and to Dryden, On.


The Manitoba Repeater Society is looking for radio technicians to service our repeaters, duplexers, controllers, and other equipment. Experience preferred. Will train suitable candidates
